You can still use a an E/Me with Sandstorm or Mistform to do a smite run. Or if all you have is a wammo (in that case you need to get a life) then you can do the W/Rt VmK run.
Statistically Aataxes drop more ecto than smite (4% opposed to 2%) HOWEVER
Aataxes take more time to kill. A trapper can drop an Aataxe in 80 seconds, a group of smites in 30 seconds. Also Smites often come in groups of 4-6+ and more than one group can be pulled simultaneously as they don't inflict heavy damage, making more kills at the same time, whereas Aataxes are 1-3 and hit hard so you can't really linger and pull more. So smites are faster than Aataxes to farm for ecto.

First off, nice job on the build! Nice concept and warriors endurance is a great idea, really keeps your energy up I'm guessing.
To clear some stuff up...
Smite runs are said to be "better" for a few reasons
-there's more of them, therefore you get more NON-ECTO drops, which covers your entry fee and increases your total profit, the actual chance of getting an ecto from killing all ~40 smites to killing all 16 aatxe is pretty close, cant remember which is higher but its by a small small fraction.
-smites are easier for a lot of builds to kill, as was mentioned, because of the lower damage output. However, smites do need to be run to, you have to do the quest, make the run, and avoid the cold fires. Aatxe runs are obviously faster if you have an efficient build, because getting to the aatxe takes 0 work and 0 time.
Thats pretty much it, if you wana try a warr/mes solo farm, smite only to see how it compares, you can use...
flail-silverwing-galrath-dragonslash-PhysicalResistance-sprint-AV-SV
that build is comming off the top of my head, so no guarantees (used to do it, haven't done it in a while tho)
atts somewhere along the lines of 16 sword, 10ish illusion, rest strength.
If you can 20% enchant mod, -2/-2 shield, or -2 enchanted or -2 stanced(flail)
Build does work quite well but its slow compared to my sandstorm ele, so I haven't used in quite a while.
NJ GL HF may many ecto drop for you

What an unoriginal idea? Got anything else you wanna share? If the OP wanted to farm with a Ranger he would've probably posted a build for one don't you think so Einstein?

I like the look of this build, but does Rachtoh's W/N build still work here? Not that its faster, just that it might be able to clear more

I've probably missed something, but since you've got an elite slot open (if you can live without Endurance, of course) how about Gladiator's Defense? I know it isn't very original, but it increases your damage and survivability, and you already invested in Tactics...
Just a thought.

you can't kill smites with warrior skills...cuz they use Shield of Judgement...but i guess if you didn't actually swing at them then you might be able to pull it off...but i doubt it...but worth a try.
And let me say it again..i said WITH WARRIOR ONLY skills..you can do it with VWK..but not actually swinging at the smites unless you drain there energy.

i've actully cleared the chamber using bonnetis then reneweing my PS. And smites i tried them. They don't work unless you put like healing breeze in there because theire shield of judgement just kills me.

I made a build like this long ago, used Gladiators defence. It was able to clear first chamber, squids, the 3 rooms around the 1st one, excluding the terrorwebs, squids in frogotten vale and the smites. Stopped using it a few months ago though, it got boring.
